Most companies don’t lack data. However, easy access to that data - in context - is in short supply.  Confluence, with the help of a few add-ons, can deliver data and business context to provide valuable business information.

In this session, we’ll show you how to connect external data to Confluence to build a product catalog - or nearly anything -- leveraging existing business data.

In addition to showing you how to use external SQL data in Confluence, we’ll demonstrate how you can weave Salesforce.com data into your applications. In our sample application you will see how easy it is to view critical data in Confluence, filter it -- with add-ons from StiltSoft -- and collaboratively assess what that data means to your business.

In this webinar we’ll show you how to:

  • Connect an SQL database to Confluence
  • Set up a product catalog using the database
  • Extend the database with Live Templates (Scaffolding Add-on)
  • Enable easier visualization of the catalog (Table Filter)
  • Connect Salesforce.com to the catalog to review sales data

There will be time for Q&A at the end of the main presentation.
